unable to recover account

    I created cinnamonforest (private) account many years ago. I have posted in awhile and if you take a look at my posting history, I don’t post often. I tried to access my account today, but it said the password was wrong. I swear I haven’t changed my password and the email linked to the account should be (email visible only to moderators and staff). However, when I tried to use that it just created a new account for me. I don’t have any of the authentication codes to recover it, but can tell you what I’ve posted and send you a photo that I’ve posted in my account. Thank you.

    Hi @caoquelam,

    When attempting to recover your account, please go through the following steps:

    1. Password Reset Process

    2. If that is not possible for you then please fill out the Account Recovery Form:

    In which you will be required to confirm your Proof Of Ownership. If you do have a transaction ID, we ask you do not post it on our public forum. Instead, tag this thread with “modlook” (in sidebar) to notify WordPress Staff so they are able to review your account and support you further. **In this case, a WordPress volunteer has already done so for you and WordPress Staff are able to follow up with you.

    Once you are able to recover your account, it is strongly suggested that you enable two-set authentication. This is great in allowing you reset your password via SMS.

    I’ve checked my other email account and haven’t received any email to reset password. Can I email you a photo that I’ve posted in one of my entries and give you some of the topics that I’ve written to confirm? I swear I haven’t changed my password in YEARS so am confuse as to why now it says my password is incorrect.

    The only other email account I have is (email visible only to moderators and staff). There must be another way to confirm that I’m the owner of cinnamonforest? Because all I want is to have access to the entries I’ve written in the last couple of years. They mean a lot to me and I just find it so weird that my password would be incorrect when I haven’t logged on in so long therefore have not had any reason to change the password. Thanks.

    We need proof that no one else could use to pretend to be the account owner. We’ll send an email.
