Unable to recover previous ‘closed account’

Hi there, a month or so ago i deleted the account i made with my other email > (email visible only to moderators and staff). I’ve tried to recover it through your recovery form, however I am unable to do so. WordPress first tells me that i should be able to recover my account simply by filling in the ‘lost password form’. However, when i try do do this, I am told that my account does not exist, and so on and so forth. Its a vicious cycle. I need to recover my account so that i can activate the Jetpack plugin (needed for my new self hosted domain).

My suggestion is that you register a new WordPress.com account if all you want it is for activation of Jetpack plugin for your self-hosted WordPress.org site.
Also bear in mind that these forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com. You can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org software you are using in this article:

Hi there,
A closed account cannot be recovered through the lost password form. If you found that information on our support site, please provide a link to where you saw it, as that is not correct.
To recover that account, please reply to the account closure email we sent you when you closed the account three weeks ago.
