Unable to recreate domain using a different host

Hi, I have previously purchased a domain at secondtranslation.com using the personal domain package in wordpress.com.
However I would like to change my hosting to hostgator.com directly and currently I am unable to access the domain from hostgator as the nameservers are not updated. Could I be advised on how to resolve this issue? -

You used to own secondtranslation.com with us, but you cancelled that domain on 12 July, so you no longer own it. You can’t transfer or make changes to a domain you no longer own.
That domain is now in redemption at our domain provider, but it’s still possible for us to recover it. Please confirm if you want to restore this domain to your account.
Once it’s restored, we can help you point or transfer it to Hostgator.
