Unable to register a new domain
-
Hello.
I am trying to register a new domain (curiousepicurean.com) and map it to my WordPress blog. The domain name is showing as available when I try to register it, but when I click on ‘Register Now’ and try to map it to my blog, I get an error message saying “The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”
I believe that while signing up an hour back I might have claimed that URL somehow, but for the love of me I can’t see proof of that within any of the settings.
I’m been trying to crack this and am running into a dead end. Any ideas what I need to do to register that domain and map it to my blog? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am seeing some curious results when researching that domain name. Because of this, I have tagged this thread so that it can be addressed by a staff member. I made an adjustment behind the scenes and you should be able to register the domain now.

Thanks ariwinokur, liz.
I can indeed proceed to try and register the domain, but when I attempt to proceed with the purchase by clicking on the appropriate button, all I get is the button greying out and there being no activity whatsoever on the page.
I don’t imagine the payment has gone through and I am in a sense still stuck on square one. Could this be an internet connectivity issue?

Could this be an internet connectivity issue?
I just went as far through the payment process as I could without registering the domain, and I was able to get the site to work as expected; so it could be a connectivity issue. Could you go somewhere with a more reliable connection and try again?

Yup, it was an internet connectivity issue as far as payments go, it’s all good now. Thanks for your help Liz!
