Unable to remove feautured image

  I tried removing the featured image from a post several times but the change does not seem to be reflected in the post. Please help.

  Even if I do not set any featured image, the post automatically sets the first image as the featured image. However, I do not want any featured image in the post. A recent example is the following post: https://prasadradhika.wordpress.com/2020/05/16/nonconvex-polyhedra/
