Unable to remove pre-existing photo

  No matter which theme I use, I’m permanently stuck with a stupid photo of the ocean, which I don’t want. The ‘edit’ feature doesn’t work. Get rid of this stupid ocean photo!

  Hi,
  I don’t know which photo of the ocean you refer to, but I don’t see it on your primary site, https://velvetsilk.wordpress.com/. On themes which allow a Custom Header Image, the default header image, if any, can always by removed or changed at Customize ->Header Image.
