Unable to renew

    Hello,
    We accidentally let our custom domain expire and now wish to renew. However, everytime we attempt to do so, when we hit pay, we get the error message ‘This domain already exists and cannot be registered.’
    Can someone advise of what steps we need to take to get things back on track again?
    BTW, we did update the account name and email as the old account and email are no longer used.

    Which domain did you register, and when did it expire?

    Is this for the domain, rvhstlblog.com?

    That domain expired on 13 June and was removed from our system early in September. It is currently in redemption with our registrar.

    It should still be possible to get it back, but there is a $80 fee to do that. Let me know if you agree to this fee and I can get the process started for you.

    Your other option is to wait a few weeks until the registrar releases the domain. However, I cannot tell you exactly when that will happen, and you do run the risk of losing the domain completely should you decide to not recover it.

    Yes please. We would pay the $80 fee in addition to a renewal and would like to get this going ASAP.

  • I have just sent you a payment link via email. I will be notified once you pay, and then I can request our registrar to restore the domain. If the recovery fails, your payment will be refunded in full.
