Unable to renew domain

    I am trying to renew the domain of my wordpress.com site.

    https://wordpress.com/plans/thesunandthesoil.com tells me that I currently have a free plan, but I know that we have been paying approx $26/yr for domain registration

    The only options I can find, however, are to upgrade to a premium plan ($99/yr) or business plan ($299/yr), neither of which I want.

    Help!

    What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    When was the upgrade purchased or renewed?

    I click here: “thesunandthesoil.com is expiring in 3 days. Renew it now.”

    I land here: https://wordpress.com/purchases

    There is nowhere to renew! My only option is “upgrade now”.

    If I click “upgrade now” I land here: https://wordpress.com/plans

    and need to “select a site to open”

    Clicking on thesunandthesoil.com takes me to : https://wordpress.com/plans/thesunandthesoil.com

    which offers me the free, premium, and business plans.

    Hi there,

    The domain thesunandthesoil.com was not bought using your account. You are an admin on the site, thesunandthesoil.wordpress.com, but you are not the owner of the site, and also not the owner of the domain. Only the username account who owns the domain can renew it.

    To find out who the owner of the site is, look at the list of users on the site that appears under My Sites ->People. One of the other admins showing there is the account that needs to renew the domain.
