Unable to Renew Domain

  Domain is with WordPress, and site was hosted by WordPress.com WordPress hosting no longer fast enough and crashing, transferred hosting.

  I am now locked out of renewing my domain because its not hosted on WordPress!

  What a ridiculous system, when I click the links to renew my domain from email reminders, I then get a message that only domains hosted on wordpress can be renewed.

  How the hell do I keep my domain?

  Any help highly appreciated
