Unable to renew domain

Both of our domains are registered through WordPress.com. One has expired but there doesn’t seem to be a way to renew it. I get a message saying “This product was purchased by a different WordPress.com account. To manage this product, log in to that account or contact the account owner.” However, I am logged in as the owner account — it even displays my account name beside both domains. Also, I want to transfer the other domain, that hasn’t expired yet, away from WordPress.com but the transfer option is missing. I’ve followed all the steps in the help guides, but the important options are missing even though I’m logged in to the correct account.

Hi there, it does sound like you need to be logged into WordPress.com with a different account to this one. Which domains are involved?
WordPress.com sends out a renewal notice by email to the account that registered the domain. Did you receive that?

I’ve checked the account you’re currently using, and it doesn’t appear to be the one where the domain in question was purchased. That’s why you don’t have access to billing or management options for the domain transfer.
