unable to renew domain mapping

When attempting to renew domain mapping for icucc.org I received the following error:
‘This subscription was originally purchased by another user. Please ask the subscription owner to renew the subscription.’
My site is down and I need immediate assistance.
I was able to renew this premium service last year without issue. -

Then have the person with the username account who registered the site and purchased the upgrade for the site renew the upgrade.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and renew any upgrades.

The person who created this blog for our church left five years ago and we no longer have any contact information for him.
I have been the sole site administrator for the last five years and have renewed the domain mapping successfully under my userid successfully ever since. This is the first time I have experienced any difficulty. -

You can view the users on your account by navigating to the “People” section of your dashboard here:
https://wordpress.com/people/team
That might give you a clue as to what other user account might own the site.
If you were able to purchase the domain mapping last year, you may be able to use the transaction information to recover access to the owner account. Here is some information on Account Recovery:

I did find a second administrator for the site. It is the person who has been gone for five years.
We have been constantly using the domain mapping for at least six years and I do not recall having any problems renewing myself before under my user id. However, when I go to Billing History, it doesn’t show any history. This is the fourth day the site has been down and I’m at a loss. -

Thank you for your assistance. There is some hope, I have e-mailed at the last known e-mail address for him. The has been no response, but there hasn’t been a bounce back from his e-mail address either.
