Unable to Renew Domain Mapping, Payment Methods & Contact Information

The domain fordendessex.com, and corresponding WordPress site and fordendessex.wordpress.com, were transferred to me by another WordPress user ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) in 2016, who has recently received an email from WordPress about renewal of the Domain Mapping for fordendessex.wordpress.com to fordendessex.com.
I have tried to update the Contact Information for this site, as per your help page at:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/update-contact-information/
However, I cannot see any Contacts and Privacy settings on the Domain page.
Also, if I try to update Payment Settings to Add a Credit Card or Renew Now, I get the error message: ‘Sorry, this user account does not own the product you are trying to renew.’

Hi @bonezee, this domain is actually registered elsewhere, so you’d want to log into that control panel to manage domain contact information.
As for the Mapping upgrade, I can see it’s owned by a different user — most likely the original one. So it’d seem the transfer didn’t get confirmed, or something.
If they’ll reach out to us, we can help them get that transferred over.

The previous owner previously thought she had already transferred the domain to my account, but I know she has two separate WordPress accounts, so may have added me as an Admin from the wrong login, or maybe transferred the Domain but not the Domain Mapping.
Anyway, I have forwarded her this message and suggested she reach out as advised. -
