Hi Manju571,
Just to clarify, are you trying to post a reply or comment to someone else’s site or blog post?
Thanks!

Hi there,
In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.
6. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
(c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state. -
manju571,
I’m going to suggest something based off you attempting to comment or reply to comments on other blogs.
Some sites have moderated comments so this could be the reason why your comments on other peoples sites are not loading. If that’s the case, they often times need to approve your comment before it shows. It wouldn’t affect “liking” things, though!
Additionally, sometimes your comments could be caught as spam. If you head on over here, you can select “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake”, and reach out to them to see if that is the case!
Let me know if this helps,

Hi everyone :)
manju571 – Can you tell me which site you’re trying to leave comments on? Let’s make sure it is hosted with WordPress.com.

Hello,
Quite often, but not all of the time, when I send a comment to someone’s WP post that I’ve seen while browsing other WP posts, my comment will not go through. I will type my comment again into the comment box and hit “submit” and it goes through but this red comment shows at the top left of my screen.Could not add a reply to this post!
And sure enough at the end of my comment there is no “reply” option. How can I fix this? It doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens enough to be annoying.

Hi Paul –
Could you share a few sites where this is happening to your comments?
It’s possible that the site owner has comment moderation enabled. In this case, they’d have to approve the comment before it is displayed publicly.
Please try clearing your browser cache with these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
If that doesn’t help then I will ask that you head over to https://akismet.com/contact/ . Type “comments” in to the search bar and you’ll see a form to complete.
