Unable to request refund

    Hi!

    I’ve been charged with a custom design fee for a blog that I am no longer a part of. It was specifically for iegrapevine.wordpress.com. I went to “my upgrades” to request a refund but no cog icon is present. I also attempted to disable the auto renew but it shows a message saying “User or Token does not have access to specified site”. I did delete my card information in hopes of deterring future charges but I’m concerned that this won’t be effective. If someone could help me figure this out, I would greatly appreciate it as I am very confused about how to progress.

    Sounds like you are not logged in as the account that bought the upgrade – you need to be logged in as the account that owns an upgrade to request a refund

    I have also flagged this for the staff to help

    Hi there,

    I can cancel and refund that custom design upgrade for you. However, if I do that, the custom design features (custom colors, fonts, and CSS) on iegrapevine.wordpress.com will stop working. Is that ok, or would another user on that blog like to take over that upgrade to keep it active?

    I can refund it for you either way, but if someone else would like to take it over I can help transfer it to them so they can make that renewal payment and manage the upgrade (and not deactivate those features in the meantime).

    The person who we are passing the blog onto says that he doesn’t mind if we just cancel it. I’m sure he’ll figure out what he wants to do with it later. If I could get a refund and a deactivation of the auto renewal, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Sure thing! Thanks for letting me know. I cancelled and refunded that custom design upgrade for you, so you’re all set with that. It may take some time for that refund to appear on your bank statement — in the meantime you can find the refund receipt in your Billing History.
