Unable to save any new posts or update any old ones

    I have been using WordPress for years, and one particular site daily for the past 6 months, but suddenly today I am not allowed to save posts as this user.

    I work in wpadmin, not in Jetpack, but on the posts lists I now see that there is an option to use the classic editor which wasn’t there yesterday. I have tried to create a new post by copying an old one and changing details, but it won’t let me save it ‘as this user’. I have tried creating a new post using the Jetpack version, but it still won’t save it ‘as this user’. I am tearing my hair out as I have people in our social club waiting to see my daily posts.

    What has happened to my old version of WordPress? How can I fix it?

    logout and login again (worked for me).
