Unable to save posts

For the past several hours , the body copy section of the edit page is not saving any posts unlike all the other sections. Kindly help. Many thanks!

Can you share a link of the page that won’t save? I’ll be happy to take a look. It sounds like you might be having connection issues.

Many thanks for your help! Much appreciate it. Actually, am facing problems with the app as well as browser. Able to post headline, save tags, categories etc.but not any text in the body copy section. Thanks again. Am using the following – Moto 4G Android phone. The WordPress app was downloaded from the phones playstore. Also use Web browser- Chrome with Windows 10. Experiencing a problem for the last 24 hours. To create a post, I open the edit page with the pen icon on it. When I enter the headline it gets saved, however when I write the post below and complete the categories, tags and date & time section it saves everything except the section where I put in all the text. This has happened on earlier occasions but resolved itself in a couple of hours. However, this time round, it just hasn’t. I’ve uninstalled and re-downloded the app with no success.

Is there any error message when you save these drafts? Does the interface act normally? But then later when you go to take a look at the draft post there is no text in the body of the post, correct?

I do not get an error message, but yes the draft does not get saved. Still the same problem.

Thank you. I’m going to see if I can find any similar reports like you’ve described. I’ll post an update back here once I have more information.

No problem. When you save the drafts are you clicking the “Save as draft” option or using auto save?

Can you tell me which App version and Android version you are using? In order to try and replicate the issue I’ll need that information.

Phone : Moto G4 Plus, Android 7.0. Downloaded the WP app from the moto playstore( no version mentioned). Thanks for your help!

Thank you. I’m going to talk to that team and see if they have any tips on how to resolve this. I’ll post an update here once I have more news.
In the meantime, you can use the mobile browser for post editing instead of the app if you want.

I am also having the same problem but I am using an android tablet. I have the same problem whether I am using the browser or the app. The drafts don’t actually appear at all on the browser version.

Unfortunately, the mobile browser does not work either! Neither, is there any success on the laptop. It appears that there is a problem with my blog. Is it possible to check for bugs please?Thanks for your help!

anitatrehan – We need the WordPress App version that you are using to try and replicate the issue on our end. You can find it by tapping the profile icon and then “help and support”.
