Unable to schedule a post for later

    I’ve looked for information and nothing seems to be coming up.

    I’m using the Bento theme on WP4.9.4, running on my dev environment of MAMP 4.4.1.

    I’ve turned off all plugins, and it still doesn’t appear.

    I’m doing the site for a church, and they would like it to autopost the sermon after the service is over, and make it as easy to not screw up as possible.

    When they’re not disabled, I’m using the following plugins:

    • Akismet Anti-Spam
    • All In One SEO Pack
    • All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly
    • Companion Auto Update (again, they want it simple)
    • Contact Form 7
    • Page Builder by SiteOrigin (required by Bento)
    • SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (required by Bento)
    • Wordfence Security
    • WP Smush

    I will also be adding WP Simple Pay so they can take donations online later, but want to get most of it up first.

    The Codex says it’s possible, but I don’t see it. I switched the theme to 2016 and 2015, and it didn’t appear. Some people suggested some plugins, so I disabled them all to test.

    I’ve also looked in both Chrome and Safari.

    What am I missing here?

    Hey hi mephron2,

    I can imagine how something so simple might be causing you grief.

    The Codex is right, you can schedule posts to show at a later date and time.

    Can I ask a few questions? Do the posts come up later, say a couple hours later or do they not show up at all?

    I am suspecting a time zone issue. Check and make sure the time zones of your server (your local machine) and your WordPress installation are the same.

    Let me me know if they are the same.
