Unable to schedule posts in WordPress app
-
I’m using iPad and iPhone. When I try to schedule my posts and change dates it just reverts it back to original date. Is it my device or the app?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but I don’t know so I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Same problem with me with the WordPress apps on iPad or android.
So I write a post, schedule the date and it gets published instantly. Disaster.

Hi evette77 and gavinfabl, I was able to reproduce this issue in the iOS app. I have notified our mobile developers so they can look into it. Thanks for reporting this!

Fingers crossed it gets fixed soon.
Do you know if the mobile view has been sorted yet. This was where article headers only would display and not the content.

Hi gavinfabl, are you referring to the issue mentioned here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/body-of-blog-posts-does-not-appear-in-mobile-site
If so, that has been resolved. If you are still having trouble with it, please start a new forum thread about the issue so we can keep track of it. Thanks!

I think this is a different problem. I’m having it too and have been for a while, and it’s not just scheduling. When I try to publish a draft blog from my iPhone it publishes it as of the date of the original draft – even though I’ve updated to today’s date before hitting publish. Which means it won’t show up on my home page or follower’s Readers, as it will look like it’s (potentially) weeks old. Any fix?

Hi joelghames, this is actually a different issue than the one with scheduled posts. Can you please start a new forum thread with your question so we can keep track of it? Thanks!
Our developers identified the source of the original problem mentioned in this thread, so please stay tuned for that fix.
