Unable to see Content in Home Page

I follow wpress guide to have a static home page, but I get this message only in my home page :
    ‘Not Found
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?
    Search for:’
    What could be wrong?
I disactivated all plugins but result is the same.
Could you address me to a solution?

    Ok, try this –

    Go to pages –
    https://wordpress.com/pages/

And add a new page (if you have multiple sites you will have to choose one site after hitting add new page)

Set the title to My Page and content to My Page Content.

Similarly, add another page saying My Blog and let the content remain empty.

Make sure to save/publish both of these pages.

Now visit the home page of your blog and customize –
    https://YOURSITE.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php

Click on Static Front Page > Select Static Front Page Circle >
from the dropdown select My Page for Front Page.

And select My Blog for Posts Page.

I hope this solves your problem.

Thanks, I tried your procedure that is very similar to the one I used before, infact, before, instead of using:
    https://YOURSITE.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php
I arrived at the same Static Front Page0 clickink Setting > Reading, once in Wpress admin.
My site is htpp: and not https: , but I don’t think that makes the difference.
The fact is that, again, I am not able to see my home page content in home page.

I use twentyfourteen theme that at what I know supports home page.
I ascertained that in my menu Home link is using My home permalink.
I remeber that after using a wrong WordPress Site URL I was obliged, to access again my Site, to add two “define” lines in my wp-config.php, giving my correct Site and Home addresses, and that I did not correct Mysql with phpmyadmin, but I could access the site again.
Unfortunately also before that inconvenience the problem with Home page was present.
    Have you please other suggestions?,
