unable to set the up email with a different provider

    Hello.
    For some reason we are unable to figure out why the wordpress hosting is not letting us enter mx without subdomain. (Instead of saying ‘mail.stjude.ca’)

    It should be like this:

    stjude.ca mx 10 mx1c11.megamailservers.com.
    stjude.ca mx 100 mx2c11.megamailservers.com.
    stjude.ca mx 110 mx3c11.megamailservers.com.

    As a result an email sent to @stjude.ca is getting Mail delivery failure notifications with the follow error:

    Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 554 5.7.1 <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>: Relay access denied
    Last-attempt-Date: Fri, 12 Feb 2016 21:10:14 -0700
