Unable to sign into my website

    I am trying to sign in to my website to perform updates and maintenance and no matter where I am (on different wifi networks) I repeatedly get a ‘500 Internal Server Error – Request Timeout
    This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact the administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’.’ I am the administrator – but because of this ‘time out issue’ I do not even have the ability to increase the connection timeout.

    Help with the open source WordPress.org software comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ On WordPress.com you wouldn’t need to process any updates as we include that as part of our managed hosting environment.
