Unable to start Blogger import

Hello,
I am new to wordpress and not sure if I am doing this right. I wanted to bring my old blog from Blogger, but I am unable to start the importing of the xml file.
I have followed the steps from the tutorials, I exported the Blogger then went to wordpress’ settings -> import -> other importers -> blogger-> browse…
So basically, after clicking ‘upload file and import’ it just send the confirmation but doesn’t do anything. I can’t see the progress of the importation or anything.
My file size is only 100kb so it shouldn’t be problem.
I am using WordPress.comHopefully someone is able to help me. Thanks.

Hi there,
Can you tell me how many posts and pages are on your blogger site? And if the site is still online, can you please try creating a new export file? It could be that there’s an error in the existing file blocking the import.

Thanks for the suggestion.
There’s about 35 posts and just 1 page on the blogger site.
I tried several times to create new export file and import it again, but it’s the same result, nothing is happening. -
I had a look at the file you are trying to import, and that file contains the source code of your theme, not your content.
Please make sure you are exporting the correct information from Blogger. You want the Backup Content option, not the template option:

I see. I probably just clicked the first backup button that I saw. Feeling little stupid now. Anyway, thank you very much! Got the right file imported now, and everything is running :)
