unable to start new forum topic from the help page

  I haven’t started a new topic in a while, and have not been made aware of any changes in the process. Today, I was unable to start a new forum topic using the Help/Contact as I’ve done for years. Had to go hunting for a link to the Add New Topic page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,
  Excuse me for asking but I never use any Help links so where is the Help link you refer to? Is it the one on the bottom of the Account page https://wordpress.com/me/account?

  Or is the one on the top right-hand corner of the Admin page on our sites that you mean?

  I’ve finally placed a link to the “Add new topic” page in my bookmarks. Should have done that a year ago.

  The Help link leads to suggested support pages, and a Get Help Button. The Get Help button presently links to the page titled Contact Us, https://wordpress.com/help/contact, which is evidently not working properly. There’s no box to type anything into. The only revelant action that can be taken at this time is to click on the “back” link which takes you to a “How can we help you page?,” which merely begins the process over again.

  If you’re seeing something else, can you post a picture of what you’re getting? You can upload to Cloudup or your media library or whatever works best for you.

  @musicdoc1-So the “contact us” form in the New Dashboard never fully loads for you? Can you try using a different browser to the one you normally use? Is javascript enabled in your browser?

  Can you make sure third party cookies are enabled too? We have a check here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  And if that doesn’t work, can you right-click, then go to inspect element > Console > Errors, then grab a screenshot?

  Thanks for the referral to the topic Contact Us is blank in support, which contains a solution. As is the case with adrienneadams, I’ve no intention of uniformly accepting third-party cookies. I find that adding either of the exceptions http://*.olark.com, https://*.olark.com, or http://static.olark.com do not fix the issue in FF. However, adding https://static.olark.com does.
