Unable to transfer blog

  I want to transfer one of the blogs I have to another user. I am that other user, I’m just using a different e-mail account. When I try the transfer to my shiny new e-mail account I made just for this person, I get a “you can’t transfer to that user”.

  Why is that? Does WordPress somehow know that new e-mail is still me? WordPress knows that people want blogs tied to different users in order to separate, for example friends from coworkers. What could possibly be the deal here?

  Thanks! This has helped. Of course I approached it in a backwards way, but that is par for my course.
