Unable to transfer to a new registrar

    I’m attempting to transfer my domain name over to GoDaddy but the option to transfer to a new registrar isn’t showing. I’ve options to transfer to another user on WordPress or to another WordPress site but not to another registrar. I’m pretty sure it’s been 60 days since I transferred the domain name to WordPress after purchasing it..unfortunately WordPress was just too difficult for me to navigate building my own website as someone with no prior experience doing so, hence trying to transfer the domain now to GoDaddy.

    You must contact your registrar because a co.uk domain cannot be transferred to or registered by wordpress.com

    Hi all! 👋🏻

    💡 I’d like to share a note on .co.uk domains (or any from the .uk namespace): it’s possible to register, connect, and transfer them away from WordPress.com, but they cannot be transferred to WordPress.com.

    @kellygatescoaching — can you please share the domain name you’re referring to? Looking at your account, I only see a connected kellygates.co.uk domain that was not registered or transferred to WordPress.com.
