Unable to turn off Discussion Emails

  Recently I’ve had the problem of my email inbox being bombarded with notifications from posts, followers, and other blog updates. I went into my WP Admin, went to discussion, and disabled these updates.

  I’m still receiving them. No matter how many times I turn the notifications off, I still continue to get the emails.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  On this page > Dashboard > Settings > Discussion we can disable:
  E-mail me whenever
  Anyone posts a comment
  A comment is held for moderation
  Someone likes one of my posts
  Someone reblogs one of my posts
  Someone follows my blog

  The option for “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com” is found at the bottom of this page
  https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/ Don’t forget to click “save changes”.

  That’s my issue. It’s not working. I turned them on in that manner. Now they won’t turn off.
