Unable to update bank card or contact support

    I’ve received emails indicating the bank card I had on my account had expired and that I needed to up-date to a new one. Unfortunately due to workload I’ve only just got around to responding to the emails – and discovered that they tried to auto-renew this AM using the old card details (which obviously failed).

    I’ve followed the links to go into the site to up-date bank card. It allows me to enter all the details – then when I hit save – I get a message stating ‘method not allowed’. This is exactly the same type of card I have used for wordpress previously – so there should be no problem. I have tried it multiple times – same result.

    Secondly I’ve tried accessing the support function -both via the email I’ve been sent and via the site – and its just a blank box with no ability to type into it – so basically I can’t access ANY support to resolve the issue.

    How exactly am I supposed to get this sorted if I can’t either up-date the bank card or access support ??!!

    Situation urgent – as it appears site is down – after a lot of work.

  • @louisecarre to be honest, that doesn’t sound like a card error to me. I’m double checking with our payments team. If the exact message says “method not allowed” would you be willing to try updating the card information in a different browser? If that still doesn’t work we’ll see if we can send you a manual invoice this time to see whether that will work.

    Thank-you so much for the response – its so helpful! I had been accessing WordPress using Google Chrome – but have now tried up-dating the card details in Internet Explorer – and that seems to have worked. The new card details are now saved – can you confirm whether that means that payment will now be taken automatically at some point ?
