Unable to update email address on our account

I am unable to update our email address-we receive the email with the link to change it but when you follow the link you are still unable to change. It advises that the email address is still pending and awaiting confirmation. The email address that is currently showing on your site is no longer active

Three days ago tried to change my email address, clicked the confirmation email I received, but the email address remains unchanged with a message saying “change is pending”.

Have not yet received any assistance on this and the problem still remains – still stating that the change is pending….I need our new email address confirmed…..

I, too, have not received any notification of help and my personal settings still show the change as pending. It is very frustrating to be in limbo and not receiving emails when someone comments on my posts. Help would be greatly appreciated.

STILL no response from WordPress support and STILL unable to receive email notifications from either my prior or requested new email address. The change still says “pending” and meanwhile I’m unable to use that feature.

I’m sorry that Staff have a backlog and have not worked their way forward to this thread yet. Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order in accord with datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Don’t bump your thread again please because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Don’t create a new thread or send an email for support either. Doing that simply means you move the datestamps and timestamps forward and it takes longer to get help.

I am leaving my email address as it is. I am having too many notification problems with my current one, and fear it’ll be worse with any additional adjustments. Thank you and please consider my issue resolved.
