Unable to update my plugins – any of them!

My website was purchased through Telus. They recently did a recovery of the site for me. Something occurred that now will not allow me to update ‘any’ plugins on the site. My site is a simple site http://www.rcmpgiftshop.ca. I do not transact within the website it is merely a page to see products. The Telus technician said because they sold the website doesn’t mean that they can support the website because it is a WordPress site. I find this frustrating at the least. I’m looking to determine if WordPress is the issue or a bad backup? Help please

Your website is built with WP, but it is not hosted on WP.com. This forum is only for sites hosted on the platform mentioned; contact your host.

As already mentioned, your site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com. The correct place to get assistance with the WordPress.org software is by registering an account and asking at
