Unable to Update Ping List

  I’m trying to add a Ping List to my Writing settings page and it doesn’t seem to have the “Update Services” everyone says I am to enter the list in. Every YouTube video and every instruction is to go to Settings – Writing – then “Update Services”… I don’t have this option. Can someone assist?

  You are watching tutorials that apply to WordPress.ORG software. They do not apply to WordPress.COM blogs. You cannot add a pinglist to a WordPress.COM hosted blog and you don’t need to as pingomatic is automatic. Read New Content?   Also read this comparison please. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums.
