Unable to upgrade to WordPress 4.9.8

    While updating WordPress to version 4.9.8 through the update now button,the screen refreshes with the message saying ‘Welcome to WordPress 4.9.7’.
    Please help us on how to proceed to update wordpress 4.9.8.The site keeps crashing off and on because of this.

    Hi, the site you’ve linked doesn’t appear to have much content posted recently. There are also no updates which need to be made from your sider on WordPress.com. To confirm, is that the site you are referring to? If not, what is the URL of your website?

    Bare in mind that if your websites uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which I highly suspect, you should post in the self-hosted forums (https://wordpress.org/support) or alternatively contact your hosting prover. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Let us know this information and we’ll try and move forward. :)
