Unable to upload mp3s for podcasts or switch to visual editor
-
I’m unable to post our company’s weekly podcast because the site is not letting my boss or me upload the mp3 audio file or switch to visual editor. When we click the button it doesn’t do anything.

Hi there,
It is not possible to upload audio files on our free sites, but you can gain that ability by upgrading to our WordPress.com Personal Plan or higher. More info here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

I’m posting from my personal account because I can’t figure out how to post from my company’s WordPress, which is a paid WordPress and functions as a site, podcast, and blog. When I go in to post a podcast, it will not allow me to add media, switch to visual from text, or edit the permalink. I’m frustrated that WordPress has no contact help other than a forum.

Actually, if you’re logged into a site with a paid plan, you can reach support via https://wordpress.com/help/contact.
What is the URL of the site you’re working on? -
It won’t let me login to the customer service site with our business login. So weird and frustrating! I am on the dashboard and able to move around the site logged in with our username and password, but unable to access customer support?

Would you be willing to send a link to the site? We’ll check it out and can likely spot the issue. Also if the site is a WordPress installation at another host, please note this is support for the sites hosted here on our servers.
If it’s hosted somewhere else, I’d check in with the host first, then post here:

Got it. That site is hosted with GoDaddy, so please check in with them first. Check your plugins next. And then post to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ if you need more help. You’ll likely need to make an account there.
