Unable to upload new avatar picture.

  I keep getting an error message when I try to upload a new avatar picture, I’ve tried directly from my computer and from an online source and your site won’t let me complete the task.

  What does the error message say?
  These are the accepted file types:
  .jpg/.jpeg
  .gif
  .png

  Gravatars do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change. Do not keep uploading!

  To enable Gravatar display on your blog go to > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.

  Hi there

  I had this problem and the error message would come up (something like: ‘whoops! This is a problem from our end…’) I have found this query and even though the pic I was trying to upload was a png file, I changed it to jpeg and had no problems. (I’d also tried uploading about a week ago before trying again today and then finding your advice)
