Unable to Upload wpml-conig.xml.

  Sorry, there has been an error.
  This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number

  After trying to upload “wpml-config.xml” from a template that has been downloaded. The folder has been extracted and contains all of the Html, CSS, JS, etc, files needed but won’t accept the Word Press Template XML File.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com themes don’t require downloading or extracting. You just activate them. It sounds like you’re trying to use a theme which might not be among the available themes which can be found at the following pages:

  Free WP themes (178): http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/free/.

  Or perhaps I’ve misunderstood. What are you trying to accomplish? What kind of template is it?

  Hi there – WPML usually refers to the multilingual plugin, and that’s not the usual naming convention for a regular WordPress export file. How exactly did you generate this XML file in your self-hosted site?
