unable to uploead media

    Hello,

    I am hosting my website and I am unable to upload media. It says following : ‘Unable to create directory uploads/2021/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?’

    How can this be fixed, what would I have to do?

    The 2nd question:

    I used elementor for two pages but do not want to use it for the rest of my website. I am using SiteOrigin and I was very happy with it. It seems though now every page i want to create is Elementor and Elementor takes over. I don’t like Elementor and my website was build completely with Site origin, just for 2 pages I need Elementor. How can I create new pages JUST with the normal SiteOrigin page builder? I don’t seem to find a way.

    My Host is siteground but I am sure I would need to contact wordpress for this. I am feeling stuck and a little frustrated. I hope you can help me. I am not a programmer, in fact I have no technical skills, so I need help that anyone can understand and perform easily. Thanks a lot!

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

    Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
