Unable to use Block Editor when creating some content

I have historically used the Classic Editor, just starting to transition to the Block Editor… and I like it for the most part. BUT… some types of posts don’t seem to allow me to use it.
If I looks at POSTS on my site, I can switch back and forth between Block and Classic, no problem. If however I’m trying to update a Support Article on my site, I can only use the Classic Editor.

I have tried disabling the ‘Classic Editor’ plugin… and Support Articles STILL go to the Classic Editor.

Can you share the URL of your website?
I’m not seeing any WordPress.com sites associated with the user account you are posting from. This frequently means that you have a site using the open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org, but hosted elsewhere.

Gotcha…. That’s a very confusing structure going on there.
So in essence, if I’m not using WordPress.com to host, I don’t need to ever be on the .com site more or less then, right?

Yeah, basically. There are situations where folks running their own WordPress installation need our help. Those would include if we are their domain registrar, or if they are using another product that we develop/support, like Jetpack or WooCommerce for example.
