Unable to use transferred accounts!

  eI transferred 3 blogs from my husband to my WordPress account. I don’t know what happened but I am unable to use them! When I go to ‘Manage Blogs’ I still have an option to leave thes blogs it looks like I am still a contributor… What can I do> My husband already deleted his account permantently!

  Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi @godsarmyarise, I can see you’re the administrator and owner for the site you’ve shared. Which sites are you having trouble with?

  The sites you’ve listed are accessible to the account you’re currently logged in as.

  You’re an administrator on all but https://propheticnewsnetwork.wordpress.com/ where you’re still a Contributor.

  There are two other Administrators still on that site (and no deleted) who can promote you to Administrator there.

  Yes you are correct! My husband and I worked together as a team… Everything worked fine until now. As a contributor I am unable to change the settings on Prophetic News Network – even deleting the blog would be a problem. I tried to acess the ‘settings’ link but I got the message: ‘You are not authorized to view this page’ Actually I don’t even want to delete the site – I really don’t know how to change the program – but if you can you have my permission! :)

  Macmanx, what would happen if I press the button ‘LEAVE BLOG’ ??? I don’t want to try it out… Maybe my sites will be lost forever in cyberspace! :O

  Hello there,

  Another administrator on the site would need to be change your user role from Contributor to administrator.

  To do this they would follow these instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/#changing-user-roles

  The blog would still exist, but you would not be a user on it. This means when signing into WordPress.com, it would not be present in your account.
