Unable to verify email address

    Part way through signing up for a paid plan, I realized that I wanted the next plan up (in order of cost). I stopped the sign up process (I already have a registered domain that I wanted to use) and now I seem to be stuck. I have tried to verify my email address to complete the setup process, but do not get the email for verification. Can I remove/delete my current account (stevemoss77, (email visible only to moderators and staff)) so that I can start again? Thanks!

    Hi there!

    Deleting your account would not allow you to use the stevemoss77 username again.

    However, you should be able to go directly to your dashboard here: https://wordpress.com/home/techwriteconz.wordpress.com

    From there, there’s a link to confirm your email address.

    However, looking at our email server logs, it looks like your email host is rejecting the emails sent from @wordpress.com email addresses, so you need to contact them and ask them to allow those emails so you can confirm your account. If we tried to contact you directly, the same emails would be rejected.

    Alternatively, you could use a Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or other email service provider for your account email address if your email provider isn’t able to help.
