Unable to Verify existing WordPress site in Profile – Each time I try it comes up with no blog found…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you tell me where you’re trying to go? What site are you trying to visit that give you this error?

When I go to my Profile Page, and add link to other site that is Okay. If I want to verify WordPress Blog for the site, it comes up every time with the words: No Blog Found. Either your WordPress blog is not responding, or its not listing any blogs against account details entered.
I am using correct username and password.
This has affected both of my blogs: http://www.historicalwritings.wordpress.com

Which profile page are you trying to update? Your WordPress.com profile? Or another social media site? Can you try adding your site’s URL using https instead of http?

Trying to update WordPress.com within Profile without much luck!
Tried https – nothing happens except it states it is unable to locate XML-PRC-API

Getting to the point of giving up with englandsmonarchs and taking to another platform…
To think until updates started causing problems was considering purchasing a WordPress Web Site, now I am not so sure!!!

Do you mean you’re trying to update your Web Address listed in your account settings here:
https://wordpress.com/me/account
I just tested changing this for my own account using this URL:
https://www.historicalwritings.wordpress.com
and didn’t get any errors.

I don’t think I am explaining it very well:
Imagine you are on front page, click dashboard and go to Profile. At the bottom of page you have a section where you create links to other sites, that works OkAY. However the next section gives one the option to verify the site – I am trying to verify WORDPRESS related with each blog site. It was working before updates now it doesn’t.

Thanks for that info! The WordPress option there is for self hosted WordPress.org sites. Not for verifying your WordPress.com sites.
You can add your WordPress.com sites as links right above that section.
Does that clarify things?
