Unable to verify WP site with Bing

Hi
I have tried verifying the wordpress site with Bing using the 1st option to upload the BingSiteAuth.xml file but after I enter the URL http://psdsimply.wordpress.com/BingSiteAuth.xml, and connect via FTP, I get the message there is already a larger file on the site with that name and I am asked if I want to replace it. If I try to upload the file again, the message connection locked by client appears.
I don’t know if i can us the methods 2 and 3 to verfiy the WP blog since I have not upgraded to customise the source html & css files, to insert the tag into the header.
Any further information would be appreciated.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have no idea how on earth you connected via FTP since wordpress.COM blogs don’t have FTP access. Nonetheless, you should be using option two, all you have to do is copy the code, and then go to your dashboard, and go to Tools -> Available Tools, and then paste the meta code into the appropriate spot and press save.
