Unable to view Akismet deleted spam comments

  I am unable to view the comments deleted by Akismet filtering. Is it possible for me to check whether or not comments are spam before it gets filtered out?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sure, you can go to Settings > Discussion in your dashboard and check “Don’t discard spam on old posts”.

  Sorry..but Akismet is still filtering comments without allowing me to view it.

  Akismet removes the worst of all spam which contains malware and can be aimed at bringing down the entire site so we never see it. New bloggers are frequently concerned about this and many forum threads can be found with Staff explaining this in the searchbox. The bottom line is that we are not able to examine it.
