Unable to view my gravatar with my comment

I tried to find a topic similar to mine but they were closed. I can not understand why this is even possible, but people on my forum see my gravatar next to my comments and can view the larger display in my profile yet I can not see it. I love the advice I saw given to someone on a closed topic I read. Go to the check gravatar aid on the gravatar website. There is a reminder to clear your cache which I did. I have tried that at least six times and it does absolutely nothing. I click on the “check” button” and wait forever with no result. When I uploaded my image to use for the gravatar and tried to crop it, every time I tried to drag the dotted lines my cursor pointer turned into a circle with a line drawn through it. So I cropped my image to exactly the way I wanted it on my computer and then uploaded it. Then to my dismay the image was precropped automatically and removed some of the image and again the cropping controls would not work. However, I am satisfied with the image as it is. I can view my profile on the gravatar website and see my image just as you would expect. But on the profile page on my forum I have only the default image showing, although, as I previously stated, other people see my actual created gravatar. On the forum profile page there is a link to go to the gravatar website to change my image. That works and takes me to the gravatar website but it is of no help in solving my problem. The main reason I am posting this is in the hope that I will see my icon here.

Also note that no forums can be installed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs and that’s the support forum you are no in. If you are referring to a WordPress.org install then post to the support forum the support bot points to http://wordpress.org/support/
