Unable to view previous year/month statistics after upgrade to Jetpack
-
Hello,
Thanks for your work. I just upgraded to Jetpack and can see stats for the two days it was installed. But I’ve been using wordpress stats for the past year and a half and I seem to have lost all of it. Is there anyway to recover them? Thanks!

Did you ever change your blog’s URL after installing WordPress.com Stats for the first time?
-
No, I haven’t touched it. I must be doing something wrong as no one else has this problem.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your reply. -
Unfortunately, no. It looks like the old stats are unrecoverable, which usually only happens when the blog’s URL is somehow changed during the stats usage.
-
Thanks. I wish there was a warning, although I did not change any url. I wouldn’t have done it otherwise.
Still taking ideas. -
I reviewed your account and I found that the old stats are currently filed under http://machinegrid.com/msp430pressTest for some reason. Could you have setup the site on a staging server with Jetpack before you set the site live and switched the old stats to that domain? If that’s what happened, then it makes sense than when you updated http://www.43oh.com the new stats started registering under that domain normally.
We don’t have a way to combine the stats right now, but we’d like to be able to offer that as an option in the future. In the mean time, you can view your historical stats by logging in to WordPress.com, going to Dashboard -> Site Stats, and choosing the stats you want to view using the dropdown menu at the top right of the page.
