unable to write tags and setting date to be published in posts

I have written over a 100 posts and had no trouble writing tags and selecting a date for the post to be published. Now all of a sudden these two features do not work. Please advise as i have several drafts to finish and schedule.

sorry, forgot to say I am traveling now and in a third world country. I am using a friends PC, and a cyrus modem to get online. I have been for the last 6 months…. until now no issues.
