Unactive blog taken?

  What if a name you want for your blog is already taken by a site that nothing has been done to it and doesn’t look anything ever will? For example, I wish to start a blog under sparkplug.wordpress.com, but the name is taken. However, it appears nothing has ever been done to the site once, and I would be surprised if anything ever will be. Could an administrator possibly do something about this like deactivating that blog, or is it against the rules and I’m just out of luck?

  the only thing you can really do is write a comment on the site asking if the owner is willing to give it up. People can transfer blogs to each other, but an inactive blog can’t just be “taken over”. Sorry.
