Unapproved Ads- bumming me out
-
Can anyone help me out with some lame adds that have been appearing on my site? I keep getting crappy 1,000 visitor ads showing up in my posts. I couldnt find it in the HTML, so I have no idea how to fix it, as I am pretty intermediate with this whole thing.
Im pretty sure Im running the most recent wordpress version, I have also paid to “unlist” my site or whatever, and I havent gotten any other type of spam. I would like to try to fix this as opposed to close it up.
The Bear and The Shark would be very grateful for any assistance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you referring to the free hosted WordPress.com blog linked to your username, or to another free hosted WordPress.com blog? If so WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
If you feel an ad is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it and send it to Staff by emailing support@wordpress.com or upload it into your Media Library and contact Staff and let them know it’s there for them to view.

Please also read this entry in case you are referring to a WordPress.org install and posting to the wrong support forum. That support forum is here http://wordpress.org/support.

The URL is http://www.bearandshark.com.
I will look into the No-Ads thing, but I dont think Ive ever had ads on my previous blogs, they where free ones, and I paid for this domain name. That could be because I cant see them under my log in. If Im paying for my site, does it make sense that I would still have ads? Could it be that my 1 year subscription is expired?
Thanks a ton for the help!

Purchasing a domain mapping upgrade does not eliminate ads. The only way to eliminate them is to purchase the No-Ads upgrade.
