Unattaching pictures in the Media Library

  I cannot find a way to “unattach” a picture from a page in the Media Library without deleting it. Is there a way to do this as I have tried and looked everywhere and canot find anything that allows me to do this and I have a lot of pictures a customer wants on a different page and need to unattach them from the page they are on. Thank you, Susan

  The only way to unattach them is to delete the post that they are attached to. Or simply upload the images again.

  That is what I thought. They are attached to pages so I will have to delete quite a lot of them and redo them all. There should be a simple way to unattach them if you make an error :)
