UNAUTHORISED ADVERTISEMENTS APPEARING ON WEBSITES

Hello,
It has come to our attention that a number of unauthorised advertisements are appearing on our websites. Below is an example of such an advert.

Please ensure that such unauthorised adverts are removed. If you wish to place adverts on our websites, our management is prepared to discuss terms with you.
Yours faithfully,
Ms. Sharon Taylor

Those ads aren’t unauthorised. It’s clearly stated on our site, wordpress.com shows ads on every free site to cover the costs – https://wordpress.com/support/no-ads/. You agreed when you set up your free site.
If you don’t want ads on your free site, you must upgrade to a paid plan whereas the personal Plan is the cheapest.

Hi there!
As @staartmees mentioned above, free WordPress.com sites are ad-supported. Those ads help us keep free sites running for free. We recommend upgrading to a WordPress.com plan if you’d like to remove ads from your site.
The WordPress.com Personal plan is a great starting point that will remove ads from your site. If you upgrade to the yearly plan, you can also get a free domain registration for the first year. That lets you use a custom domain so your visitors see that instead of your WordPress.com site address.
You can upgrade using the link below if you’re interested:
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.
