Unauthorised advertising on my home page

  advertising has appeared on my latest post despite it not showing on my edit page. I do not want unauthorised people advertising on my blog. How do I delete it and stop it happening again?

  You did authorize the ads – it is part of the Terms of service that you probably did not bother to read – the ads are how you get a “free” blog – the ads have been here since 2006 – if you don’t like them buy the No Ads Upgrade or find your own host not on WordPress.COM
