Unauthorised payment

  Hi, there is a payment of £256 that was taken from my account without authorization as I do not have an active subscription that I can see. Even if I did, my card details have changed and I should have received a notice to update my details. Please advise. I have notified my bank.

  I took a look, and it doesn’t look like there’s any history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into, so we’re limited to what we can help with and advise here.

  If you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we should be able to help you with this.

  The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

  WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

  If the charge on your bank statement does not follow that format, the charge was not made here at WordPress.com.
